24/7 Availability: HRTC’s online portal allows users to book tickets anytime and anywhere with an internet connection.
Real-Time Seat Availability: Passengers can view and choose seats in real-time, helping them select the best options based on comfort and availability.
E-Tickets: After booking, an electronic ticket (E-ticket) is issued, which can be shown directly to the conductor without needing a printed version.

Ordinary Buses: Basic non-air-conditioned buses that ply to almost all towns and villages within Himachal Pradesh.
Deluxe Buses: More comfortable buses with cushioned seats and fewer passengers.
Volvo & AC Buses: Air-conditioned buses for long-distance travel, providing maximum comfort and convenience.
Himsuta Buses: Luxury Volvo buses for major routes like Delhi-Shimla, Delhi-Manali, and other inter-state services.

Step 4: Select your preferred seat and provide passenger details.
Step 5: Make the payment through any secure online payment option.
Step 6: Once the payment is confirmed, an e-ticket is generated which can be saved and used while traveling.

Cancellation Charges: A percentage of the fare is deducted depending on how close to the departure the ticket is canceled.
- More than 24 hours before departure: 10% deduction.
- 12-24 hours before departure: 25% deduction.
- 4-12 hours before departure: 50% deduction.
- Less than 4 hours before departure: No refund.
Refund Process: Refunds are typically processed within 7–10 working days and returned to the original mode of payment.
